I want to share my paintings with the world and find a home for them. My paintings are to be a faithful record of the time they were made and should reveal periods of time in history. Sincerely, Gar Webb

1973 - 24” x 36” Acrylic on Masonite. The mid 1970’s disco dance scene was really far out growing up in South Florida, USA. Blasting music and blazing lights, designer jeans, and cocaine replaced LSD. The Bee Gee’s, Donna Summer, and Barry White’s music filled Disco Bars around the world as young people bumped and hustled the nights away. The psychedelic hippie music of the sixties and the Beatle’s break up open the door for a new style of music called Disco. All of the elements of art come together in the unique, stunning, colorful, surrealistic expression. The two painted faces balance each other along with the blue and gold glittered black outfits. The night time black sky blends into the painting, bringing these two shocking faces into harmony. This painting is a very unique expression in fine Modern Art. Painting in excellent condition.
